About Us
Blessing Hands 4Children Uganda is an orphanage that exists as a response to the urgent needs of a village in Bugiri, Uganda. In this village some of the children have Malaria and other horrible illnesses. The children don't have access to good education, they live in poor environments without safe drinking water and very little or no food. Our mission is to shine the Light of Jesus in all these dark areas the best way we know how, by following the leading of the Holy Spirit and with the loving support of our Partners, Friends and Family.
Blessing Hands is Currently caring for over 35 children, 16 of them are orphans.
Land Purchase
Denis is currently renting 3 acres of land and was told he has the amazing opportunity to purchase the land! The seller is asking for $2,000 per acre which equals $6,000. We are hoping to at least purchase one acre.
Denis has already invested his time and energy in the land by growing corn for the Orphans that currently live there at the orphanage and for the surrounding community. No Child Left Behind
Every Saturday, Denis invites the children in the surrounding communities to the orphanage for a meal, bible study and games. These Saturday gatherings are really starting to grow, caring for 50-90 kids. For some of these children, that meal is the only nutritious meal they will have for that week. School Tuition
School is extremely important to these children, each school term is required to pay a $30 fee per child in order to continue. that comes to over $1.000 for each term. Each term is 4 months long.
